Ninkasi High Score Contest – Portland Beer Week – Sunday June 16
Spin the wheel and climb the high score board during the Ninkasi Brewing High Score Contest! We’ll host several high score challenges during this Portland Beer Week event, and each session’s game will be chosen at random by a spin of the wheel.
Will you need to master the mazes of Ms. Pac-Man, or traverse through TRON’s trials? Put your quarter up and find out! We’ll run regular challenges from 8-11pm, and you just need to sign up before the next round begins. The top high scores will walk away with Ninkasi swag and Ground Kontrol gift certificates.
During the event, power up with specials on Ninkasi beer! We’ll be serving Ninkasi brews not usually offered at Ground Kontrol.

Hollywood Theatre Presents: Terminator Night – Wednesday June 12
Are you a friend of Sarah Connor? Come down to Ground Kontrol on Wednesday June 12 for several awesome Terminator-related events:
- Trivia hosted by Terminator super fans Nic Goans and Matt Cummins! Grab a team of 4 and grab a seat in GK’s lounge by 7:30pm.
- Terminator Costume Contest! Judging at 9pm.
- T2 Pinball Challenge! Between 5-8pm, put up your best score on our T2: Judgment Day pinball machine. Snap a photo and show it to our event organizers so they can record it. Around 8pm, we’ll grab the top players for a final tournament!
Win prizes from Things From Another World and Ground Kontrol whether you’re a Terminator expert, pinball pro or make a convincing T-800.
We’ll also be serving a super-limited brew from Lompoc Brewing: Brave New Brew!
