Every great tournament should have a trophy that befits it. The NHL Playoffs have the Stanley Cup, The Masters Golf Tournament has the Green Jacket, and Ground Kontrol’s Pinbrawl Pinball Tournament has the Pinhead Trophy.
Pinhead was crafted by Clay Cowgill using resin cast in a silicone mold, adding numerous ideas to the initial concept by Jeffrey McEachin. Clay used a CNC router to make the GK ship logo and the champion’s list. Each year’s winner will be engraved on the champion’s list and the original trophy will be displayed at Ground Kontrol. A copy of the trophy with a less elaborate base will be given to the winner in addition to the Pinbrawl Grand Prize.
