We will be streaming live, with a fundraiser where 40% goes to our Community Fund, and 60% goes to a local charity that helps house and find employment for people in Portland:
Charity: Transition Projects https://www.tprojects.org/
Community Fund: KQPDX Community Fund
There will be drink specials where $2 of each purchase goes to charity! The drinks will cost $1 more than they normally do, and GK is donating the other $1 for each!.
We’ll likely have prizes or goodies to give out – more info TBA!
What is a “BUBG”?: This is a silly format that’s meant to be totally random and unfair! Only 1 player out of all sign ups wins! Each individual player gets 2-3 strikes before they’re knocked out (depends on # of sign ups). Each round you’ll be placed on a new team randomly, and you’ll play another random team on a single random map. All players on the losing team get 1 strike. Sometimes team #s will be uneven, so your team of 4 might play against a team of 5. The last round will be 1v1 or 1v2. Bots are not allowed, but you can control unplayed positions in addition to your own as long as you’re controlling the button and stick with your own body (no phone snail). Any player on your team can play any position and swap between them at will during the map.
