Indie Game Night: Overcooked 2

Every Last Thursday, Indie Game Night invites you to play and preview new and unreleased independently-developed video games in Ground Kontrol’s lounge. These games are made by small teams (often just a few people) and are usually retro-inspired with refined game play that’s easy to pick up in just a couple of rounds.

This month, we’re featuring Overcooked 2 on the PS4!

OVERCOOKED 2 [Ghost Town Games Ltd., Team 17]
Overcooked 2 is a chaotic co-op cooking game for 1-4 players in which you must serve a variety of recipes including sushi, pasta, cakes, burgers and burritos to hungry customers in a series of unconventional kitchens. Whether it be a hot air balloon, a magical Wizard’s school or even another planet, you’ll have to be ready for anything. Work solo or with up to three friends (locally or online) to prep orders while overcoming obstacles such as fire, collapsing floors, overbearing waiters and of course, the classic kitchen problem of floating work surfaces.

Get down here at 7 and join gamemaster Aspen, who will be on hand to help you get started. There’s no cost to play and no pressure to win, just grab a beer and a controller and have a blast!
