KQ Winter Formal Fundraiser II: Electric Boogaloo

It’s time to dust off your tuxes and fancy dresses and get ready to play games for a good cause again! Killer Queen Mercury Squad Portland is raising money for the Xerces Society for the second year in a row.

Bring your date and join us for a mixer tournament with a twist. While all teams will be randomly picked before games begin, you have the option of pairing with another player to be drafted together. Got a friend that has always wanted to try KQ? Or maybe a player you never seem to get to team up with? Bring them on down and sign up with them!

The recommended donation is $5 a player, with 100% of the proceeds going to Xerces Society, an international nonprofit organization that protects wildlife through the conservation of invertebrates and their habitats.

We will be using regular mixer tournament rules, which means a Round Robin format if there are six teams or fewer and a Double Elimination setup if we have seven or more. Register between 6 and 7pm, with teams picked at 7 and games starting shortly after.
