Hey everyone! We’ve been long overdue for an update on our plans for reopening, but we’re excited to finally share that we’re in the process of preparing Ground Kontrol to power back up as soon as possible.
We recently rearranged our games to provide more space between groups, and we’re currently waiting for our staff to be vaccinated. In the meantime, we will be cleaning and painting Ground Kontrol and refurbishing the games. We don’t have a specific date to announce, but we are on track for an early summer reopening.
When we are first able to reopen, we will be operating with a limited capacity and a selection of games that allow for social distancing for individuals and small groups. We’ll have more details to share as we move closer to being able to set a reopening date, but considering today’s increased “high risk” level in Multnomah county, we don’t anticipate having a clear timeline until later in the month at the earliest. Until then, you can expect us to continue moving forward with our plans prioritizing the safety and health of our customers, employees, and community.
